A charming New Hampshire vacation rental situated on a small mountain with a magnificent view of Mt. Washington and the surrounding White Mountains.
Three hours by car from Boston, MA and two hours from Portland, ME and Manchester, NH.
Mountain View is comprised of 3 levels. It features a cathedral ceiling and vast expanses of glass to capture the magnificent view in all seasons of the dramatic mountains that surround this idyllic site.
The Great Room features a working fireplace and comfortable seating for reading, napping and watching movies on the cable TV or VCR. Here, too, are two dining areas that seat as many as 12 guests. Sliding doors open to the wrap-around deck with a 180-degree mountain view...a perfect place for enjoying long, memorable sunsets.
Mountain View is in Excellent condition. Two phone lines for fax or modem, cable TVs, VCRs, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer are included.
Five to ten minutes from golf, StoryLand (small theme park open in the summer) and charming local restaurants. Thirty minutes from North Conway with more restaurants and outlet stores. Hiking, downhill and x-country skiing ten to thirty minutes away. Children are welcome.

The rent is $1000 per week in the spring, $1200 in September and the first half of October, $1100 in fall and winter, except for vacation weeks, which are $1500, and $1300 per week in the summer. We also have a $200 refundable security deposit and an 8% lodging tax. We rent from 3 PM Saturday to 10 AM Saturday. In the fall, winter, and spring, if we haven't rented the week two weeks before the Saturday that it begins, we will rent a three day two night weekend for $550 and a four day three night weekend for $700. In the summer, we rent only by the week. To reserve the weekend, please send me the rent, plus 8% tax and the $200 security deposit.
