This newly built spacious mountain home is a great place to enjoy your family vacation. Also perfect for church retreats, and other groups looking for a nice quite place to get away and enjoy the best of Buena Vista.
Our mountain house (located on CR 306) is 3.0 miles from the small town of Buena Vista. The town is the center of numerous enjoyable events for the whole family year round!
We Offer:
3 large bedrooms with (3) queen size beds and king size in the master, 2 1/2 bath rooms, large playroom with ping pong and other family games to play and enjoy. 2 T.V/ VCR/ DVD players, all new appliances, full kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and toaster. The dining room table can seat up to 8 people, we have a large family room, washer & dryer, and ceiling fans in all rooms.
Activities:
Buena Vista, Spanish for "Good View" is aptly named. There are 19 trailheads for most of Chaffee County's 14,000-foot peaks, all located within an hour of Buena Vista. Buena Vista offers a wide variety of activities year round for the whole family to enjoy! Within minutes from your door step you will find fishing, hiking & biking trails, horse back riding, boating, kayaking, Jeep and ATV rentals are available for self guided touring, whitewater rafting down the exciting Arkansas River, snowmobiling, skiing, golfing, Hot Springs pools, and so much more!

Wild Life & Views:
You don’t have to drive or walk far to view the wild life. We have had elk, deer, fox, and humming birds right in our backyard. There are beautiful views of the collegiate peaks and over 500 feet of Cottonwood Creek running through 2.5 acres of property to enjoy.

Buena Vista offers many fine dining restaurants to choose from, or if you are in the mood for home cooking, we have all the cooking utensils, pots & pans you need for your home cooked meals.

1 to 2 people - $ 100 Per Night
3 to 4 people - $ 150 Per Night
5 to 6 people - $ 200 Per Night
7 to 8 people - $ 250 Per Night
House Rules: No Smoking, No Overnight Guests, No Parties/Gatherings, Must Complete Departure list.
This is a privately owned property. We will not be responsible for accidents or injuries to our guest; or for loss of money, jewelry or valuables of any kind. You will be held liable for any damage to this property and neighboring properties.
Directions to Buena Vista:
A): I-70 West to Copper Mountain exit (Hwy 91) to Leadville. Hwy 91 merges into Hwy 24. Take Hwy 24 to Buena Vista.
B): C-470 to Hwy 285 West, (Fairplay). Just passed Johnson Village, turn right (North) on Hwy 24 to Buena Vista.
C): I-25 to Colorado Springs exit onto West Cimarron Street (Hwy 24). Turn left onto Hwy 285/24. Just passed Johnson Village, turn right (North) on Hwy 24 to Buena Vista.

Turn West at the stoplight from Hwy 24 onto West Main Street (CR 306 - Cottonwood Pass).
Our house is located 3 miles up on the right side of the road just past the 45 mph sign. Look for the Comanche drive-in movie theater on the left side of the road.

Located near the Arkansas River, Buena Vista offers the best of Colorado, White water rafting, kayaking, fishing, hiking, four-wheeling, mountain biking, horse back riding, golf, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ATV rentals, or just soaking in the hot springs pools just ½ mile up the road from our mountain house.
In addition to the mountain outdoor activities that surround Buena Vista, the town also features five parks including a toddler park, tennis courts, baseball field, basketball and volleyball courts, a new kayak water part as well as a new skate board park.
Buena Vista is located almost in the center of Colorado on Hwy 24. It is 125 miles south-west of Denver and 94 mile west of Colorado Springs. The town and surrounding area are rich with history from the mining and railroad age. Events occur most weekends, and range between hot air balloon festivals, rodeos, music festivals, fishing derbies, concerts, car shows fun-run’s bike events and even burro races.
