Description
This exceptional villa is situated 5 kms from Carpentras and is near the famous Mont Ventoux. It is in the very heart of the Provence countryside with long views of the mountain. The 3 acres of fragrant pine woodland that surround this hide-away paradise guarantee total privacy.
About 100m from the house, is a full size tennis court which was resurfaced only last year. The swimming pool is closer to the house (about 40m) but still far enough away that those quietly relaxing at the house need not be disturbed by the exuberant youth in the pool! Next to the pool there is a ping-pong table and a table-football.
Two terraces with garden furniture on opposite sides of the house and a large partly covered roof terrace give plenty of options for sitting out.

ACCOMMODATION
This spacious property (200m2) in a parkland of Mediterranean pines, olive trees and Holm oak offers privacy and calm to be disturbed only by cicadas. It is one of the few villas to be awarded 4 stars by the Carpentras Tourist board and has been furnished and equipped to a high standard. A beautiful library with a piano, 2 living rooms with superb views, make it an extremely spacious top notch holiday retreat within easy reach of Provence's famous sights; Gordes, Mont Ventoux, Saint Remy de Provence, Avignon and the Luberon.
Downstairs
One walks through the front door into a large (45 m2), comfortable living/dining room with a leather sofa, 2 leather armchairs, as well as an inviting open fire-place, and a piano. The dining area has a table for 10 people; there is even a 'sunday best' dinner set for special occasions and generally in terms of cutlery, china and pots and pans the house is well equipped.
The living room in turn leads into an 'old style' library with bookshelves lining walls, a sofa and 4 armchairs (30m2). A steepish winding wooden staircase leads to a mezzanine gallery comprising a 'small' sitting room furnished with a sofa and two leather armchairs. From here there is a stunning view of Mont Ventoux.
Kitchen: The kitchen is fully equipped with a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge-freezer, a dishwasher and a washing machine. Good quality cooking utensils and table ware.
3 Bedrooms: Two of the bedrooms have king-size beds (15m2 and 12m2), and the other has twin single beds (10m2). Bathroom with bath, bidet and wash-basin.
First Floor
Mezzanine leads to Bedroom.

The bedroom has french windows out to a very spacious roof terrace (70m2) with views both ways; over the front garden to the south and Mont Ventoux to the North. Part of the terrace is covered by a roof which makes an ideal spot for quiet read away from the rest of the party. This roof terrace is also reached by outdoor steps from the back garden.
