Nestled at the base of the Makaleha Forest Reserve with cascading waterfalls and little streams you'll find Kauai's best kept secret, Hale O' Wailele or also known by its English translation "The House of Leaping Waterfalls"
This secluded custom built vacation home is situated on an eight acre tropical flower plantation. It offers comfortable, upscale accommodations with many luxurious amenities. The home is fully furnished and decorated throughout with Hawaiian art, collectibles and a array of tropical flowers freshly cut from the eight acre plantation.
The home has pecan hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, ceiling fans and air-conditioning throughout. The living room area is furnished with an over stuffed leather seating arrangement, 60' big screen TV with VHS/DVD and stereo system.
Our bedroom accommodations include two rooms with Cal-King pillow top beds and the third bedroom has two full size beds all dressed in high quality linens for comfort assured. Each bedroom includes a 27' TV with VHS as well as 12 ft. mirror closets and custom furnishings. The home includes two full marble bathrooms with slate floors and brass fixtures.
You'll find the kitchen furnished with all modern appliances, granite counter tops and slate floors. In addition to being fully stocked with all the conveyances of home such as microwave, toaster, coffee/espresso maker, blender as well as all types of cookware, dishes and cooking utensils.
On property guest amenities include a beautifully appointed swimming pool with lava rock waterfall feature and surrounding garden with fish pond, two private Jacuzzi's, Gym, mountain bikes, beach and hiking gear, BBQ area, hammocks, acres of tropical flowers, exotic fruit trees and much more.

Hale O' Waileles' well maintained accommodations and amenities to its welcoming tropical flower bouquets upon arrival are usually the main attraction when guests first arrive. However, once settled and relaxed after a long flight they truly see why the area is so sacred to those that live on the island. The smell of fresh clean air, light tradewinds blowing, the serene atmosphere, peaceful sounds of nature, and best of all the unobstructed, gorgeous views of miles of lush green mountains and vibrate colors of tropical foliage splashed everywhere will defiantly make you feel like you never want to leave.
Our guests have commented that they love the seclusion of the establishment, privacy and spaciousness of having the use of an entire house to themselves compared to staying in hotel suite for relatively the same price. They love being able to relax in the comfort of our own space, and having all the amenities to themselves. They appreciate having access to all types of complimentary beach gear, mountain bikes and other guests amenities which are an added conveyance when on vacation. They also like the conveyance of having the use of a complete kitchen to cook meals in or being able to barbeque during their visit especially for those staying a week or longer. For honeymooners or couples celebrating a special occasion, Ka Lumi Wa'a (The Canoe Suite) is your choice. It is the ideal romantic getaway, and includes all of the amenities mentioned exclusive.
Note: When Hale O' Wailele is booked as an exclusive one suite vacation rental, the other suites located on the opposite side of the home are locked off.

The Weekly Rate: Book for 7 nights and get One night FREE
* All rates are subject to 11.42% combined excise and state room tax.
* There is a 2 night minimum stay.
* Six adults are the maximum occupancy for the home (Hawaii Fire Code)
* Cleaning fee: A one time cleaning fee is incurred in addition to the daily rate. $100 when rented as a Master Suite/House or $150 when renting Entire House.
* Reservations should be made as soon as your travel dates are firm.
* To hold your confirmed reservation: A deposit of half or your total nights reserved must be paid to secure your reservation, with the balance being due upon arrival.
